Home and Community-Based Services
Home & Community-Based Services (HCBS) provides opportunities for Medicaid & Medicare beneficiaries to receive services in their own home or community rather than institutions or isolated settings. These self-directed programs serve a variety of individuals, such as the elderly, and people with physical, mental, intellectual, and/or developmental disabilities. Self-direction allows participants the option to choose the services and supports they need to live independently in their own home. The Participant is the employer and is responsible for managing all aspects of service delivery in a person-centered planning process. Metro Solutions will serve as the Administrative Agent on the Participant’s behalf to provide administrative and billing support.

Medicare and Medicaid Fraud Prevention
Medicaid fraud is knowingly falsifying or misrepresenting the truth to obtain unauthorized benefits. You must comply with all State and Federal laws and prevent misuse or fraud.
Examples of Medicaid & Medicare fraud include duplicate billing for multiple participants, recording and approving hours on a timesheet that weren’t worked, stating different times than you actually worked, changing hours on a timesheet after it has been approved, falsifying a worker’s compensation claim, falsifying or misrepresentation on applications or documentation and billing for service while in the hospital or other care facility.
